"Holy Grief " is a set of 55 cards created to pair the process of grief with invitations to find guidance through slow exercise, reflections through writing and conversation, spiritual meditations, and illustrative invocations to patron saints of suffering and grief. Cards can be displayed as reminders on the included laser-cut stand with the ability to be changed whenever the user needs different encouragement.
This box set applies visual sensibility and technical competence to encode meaning in relation to COVID-19 and the process of grief, enabling audiences to decode this message from its visual forms and design systems.
